Characteristics of my work My inspiration I get from observing my surrounding when spending my summers working with stone in Finland and when travelling in Asia. Afterwards during my creation process I canalise my thoughts and impressions I collected while travelling and I try to approach my subject in an other matter. It is important for me to reduce complex forms to basic clear lines to get to the essence of an object. I use clear radiant colours full of light and natural materials like wood, clay and stone - mostly granite.
